2003 Audi A4 Review
The 2003 Audi A4 was offered in Avant wagon, sedan, Cabriolet, and Convertible body styles. The 1.8T versions used a 4-cyl turbo engine and the 3.0 versions used a V6 engine. Convertibles and Sedans came with front-wheel drive, while the Quattro all-wheel-drive system of Audi was available for sedans and Avant models only.
2003 Audi A4 Gets the Goodness of CVT
Along with Quattro, either a 4-speed auto or standard 4-speed manual transmission was offered. On Convertibles, front-drive 1.8T sedan, and front-wheel-drive 3.0 sedans had conventional continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). Six current “gears” chosen from steering-wheel buttons or a shift gate, and variable drive ratios were provided by the CVT.
Standard Features in 2003 Audi A4
Along with heated glass back window, a power folding top was provided with Cabriolets. All A4 included with front side airbags, antiskid system, and antilock 4-wheel disc brakes. Optional rear trunk side airbags and head-protecting curtain side airbags were included in both wagons and Sedans. Convertibles were provided with front side airbags for torso and head protection and rear support bar that came out mechanically to protect passengers.
Optional Upgrades
In V6 versions, an optional navigation system was mounted. It had come with standard 17-inch alloy wheels. For 3.0 versions, leather seat were standard and optional in 1.8Ts. Full leather upholstery was a standard offering on the V6 versions.
