2008 A4 Audi Review

The 2008 Audi A4 was introduced with a wide range of optional engines that had power producing capacity within the range of 143 hp and 265 hp. In those five engines, three were diesel operated and two were petrol operated. The 4-cylinder petrol engine was a turbocharged engine, while the others had direct fuel injection mechanism.

The 2008 A4 Audi was produced in two trim levels; they were Audi A4 3.2 FSI Quattro and Audi A4 1.8 TFSI. All the variants had ample luxury and safety features, though the engine and transmission made the major difference.

2008 Audi A4 Performance

The Audi A4 3.2 version was controlled by 3.2 liter petrol engine that could produce 243 feet-lbs of torque rated at 3000-5000 rotations per minute and 265 hp of power, whereas the Audi A4 1.8 FSI Quattro was equipped with a 3.2 liter petrol engine, which could develop 160 hp of power and a torque of 184 ft.-lbs at 1500-4500 rotations per minute.

Fuel Economy

Coming to its fuel economy, the standard mileage of the 2008 Audi A4 3.2 FSI Quattro was 9.2 liters of petrol/100 kilometers and the mileage of the 2008 A4 Audi 1.8 TFSI was 7.1 liters of petrol/100 km.
