The Audi A4 1.8T comes with new high performance components. In the series of Audi A4 cars, Audi A4 Avant wagons and 4-door sedans had been the top performers early on. Then, the Audi A4 Cabriolet convertible came out, which happens to be a modified crossover in the Audi A4 series.
Engine Power
Both the wagon and sedan come with Quattro all-wheel drive of Audi, and the sedans are designed with front-wheel drive mechanism too. Audi A4 Avant and Sedan are available in 2.0T and designed with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine for generation of 211-horsepower, and the 3.2 Quattro V6 engine has been now dropped from the lineup.
Transmission Options
The 2.0T models that are designed with front-wheel drive mechanism contain a continuously variable transmission (CVT) that has same nature as an automatic transmission. These 2.0T Quattro models are matched to either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission. The Audi 4 is engineered with all-wheel drive driving pattern and contains a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine, which churns out 333 horsepower.
Considering the alternatives in transmissions, a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission is also available. The Audi S4 has special interior and exterior trim along with 18-inch alloy wheels.
Safety features standard on all Audi A4 models are all side airbags, traction control system, antiskid system, and an advanced ABS.
